On Thursday the 18th Febuary, the Cloud Computing experts will be presenting to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), on the development of Cloud services in recent years.
The presentation will be given in two parts, by virtualDCS’ Managing Director, Richard May and Cloud Executive, Matthew Holmes.
The ACCA was originally founded in 1904 and is the global body for professional accountants, with over 154, 000 members over 170 countries. The ACCA works in the interest of the public, assuring members are appropriately regulated.
Richard May commented on the opportunity, stating that: “It is an honour to be asked to speak at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I hope the event will help listeners to develop a deeper understanding of the industry, its transition over the last few years and its promising future. The main goal for the event is to provide attendees with useful information that they can reflect on when considering a Cloud infrastructure.”
Richard will be discussing a variety of concepts throughout the presentation including key features and perceptions of the Cloud – highlighting aspects such as security, location and monitoring. Richard will also be discussing Cloud Computing standards, such as ISO 27001.
The presentation will take place at 6 PM on the 28th of February at the AMP technology Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Park, Brunel Way, Catcliffe, Rotherham, S60 5WG.
