After completing his role as a Dragon for Leeds University, Richard is now taking part in a ‘Working Knowledge’ event on the 24th June.
Aiding students at Huddersfield New College the day will consist of a number of workplace simulations, where, in teams, the pupils will be developing strategies to build a business from an initial concept. Entrepreneurs will be holding workshops throughout the event providing a ‘real world spin’ on their challenge. Students will then pitch their business plans to the panel of judges.
“I think it is important for businesses and entrepreneurs to take time out of their busy schedule in order to guide the next generation of business owners. After judging at a similar event recently, and seeing the results of sharing my experience, I am really enthusiastic about inspiring and encouraging the students in their endeavours” said Richard, Managing Director of virtualDCS.
