On Thursday 4th July Heart Research UK will be assessing the health of Cloud Computing company virtualDCS, as part of an on-going collaboration to develop and improve the local community.
The virtualDCS corporate Health Day has been organised in partnership with the charity and will be held at the virtualDCS offices in Kirkstall.
The day will take place in three parts, including a comprehensive lifestyle assessment, consisting of a Body Mass Index check and a Blood pressure assessment, a healthy lunch and a corporate walk down the Leeds – Liverpool canal.
“Heart Research UK is committed to supporting community and corporate healthy heart activities so we are thrilled that virtualDCS decided to host a health day. We very much appreciate their continuing support and are delighted that they have given us the opportunity to be involved in this event” said Barbara Dinsdale, Lifestyle Manager at Heart Research UK.
Richard May, Managing Director of virtualDCS also commented on the event, stating: “As a company, we like to look after our employees to the best of our ability and an annual virtualDCS health day is an ideal opportunity to do this, whilst raising awareness for an excellent regional charity. Our office is based right next to the Canal and Kirkstall Abbey so it also presents a great opportunity for HRUK to lead our trek. We are really looking forward to the day overall.”
