The Services Provider License Agreement – SPLA enables service providers and ISVs with a hosted offering to license Microsoft products on a monthly basis.
This is in order to provide services and hosted applications to their end customers. Renting, leasing, or lending the Software (including providing commercial hosting services) is also prohibited.

SPLA licencing can provide many business opportunities, including–
• Removing Capex for Microsoft products
• Removing the cost of server licensing, enabling you to just pay for users.
• Only pay for the services you use, with the ability to upgrade or downgrade.
• Always access the latest version of software available through SaaS.
